Main Content

The first edition of a regional public health strategy identifies priorities across key themes, but recognises the need for continuing work. There are ten key themes. The proposed actions within these themes will form an
initial programme of action. The challenge in this next phase will be to act where the appropriate actions are clear, and to build evidence and agreement on the nature of appropriate actions when they are less so.

The 10 key thems are:

Economy, culture and environment Prevention, fair and early treatment Mental health, happiness and well-being Early life Tobacco Mature and working life Obesity, diet and physical activity Later life Alcohol A good death
