Main Content

Next Steps sets out the priorities for the next phase of reform under three themes: Dignity in Care, Joined-Up Care and Healthy Ageing. It consists of ten programmes driven nationally and covers the second half of the 10 year National Service Framework for Older People. The healthy ageing programme is the vehicle for delivering the older people’s component of Choosing Health and will be a key component in the delivery of a cross-government strategy for older people.
