The World Health Organisation reports on a 3-year investigation into the social determinants of health and finds that "Social injustice is killing people on a grand scale." It highlights differences in life expectancy of 28 years in communities just 8 miles apart in Glasgow. How does this compare with local difference, such as those between Middlehaven and Nunthorpe?
