Neil Stanley argues that, in terms of healthy living, sleep is as important as good diet and exercise (see BBC website article). We have public health interventions tackling poor diets and aimed at increasing exercise. Could encouraging good sleep help to improve health on Teesside? The British Sleep Society hold their Spring meeting in York in April.
